Pot with wrought iron rim with lid 20cm
Description
Soapstone pot “Lavecc” with hand-wrought iron hoops (without lid). This type of hooping was done about two thousand years ago.
The color of the wrought iron darkened with oil, gives an ancient and unique look to the pot.
Type of workmanship: Turning by hand with techniques dating back to the 1st century AD that allows you to recover the core of lavecc that will be used to produce other pots smaller and smaller, from three to eight pots depending on the size of the initial block of soapstone.
